John Russell, Senior Director, Contracting and Business Development
John Russell has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. At BMSI, John is responsible for marketing strategy, business development, and Managed Markets contracting. Prior to working with BMSI, John was with Otsuka America where he was responsible for market access and reimbursement launch strategies for novel cardiovascular and anti-psychotic products. John also managed alliances with Bristol Myers Squibb and Pharmacia that were related to Managed Markets. Before joining Otsuka America, John held several important positions. At Eli Lilly and one of its medical device subsidiaries, John gained valuable experience in a variety of marketing, managed care, market research and sales management positions. John has both a BS and an MS in biology from Farleigh Dickinson University.
